My point was that in order to become a football replacement (fall sport)
the MLL would have to change it's schedule to be in the fall and that's a big gamble. You have to pick just the right time to do that. Too early and people will still be watching football. Too late and there'll likely be someone else who is ahead of you. I'd like to see it, but I'm just not sure that it'll work out for lacrosse.
I think soccer, at least in the collegiate level, is best positioned to take over if/when football drops
